“Lorna Doone” Cookies

2 cupfuls of sugar

1 cupful of butter

2 cupfuls of sour milk with a tablespoonful of soda added

Sift in sufficient flour to make a rather soft dough. Roll out, cut, and sprinkle with sugar. Put a raisin in the center of each. Bake in hot oven.
